Zygmunt Rozwadowski (Lviv 1870 – 1950 Zakopane), painter, decorator, and educator. He studied from 1883 to 1892 at the State School of Fine Arts in Kraków, where he attended Jan Matejko’s Composition Department for the final two years. He continued his studies in Munich at Anton Ažbé’s private school. He exhibited his early works at the Society of Friends of Fine Arts (TPSP) in Kraków under the pseudonym Jordan. After completing his studies, he settled in Lviv. From 1910 to 1920, he was a professor at the Lviv School of Decorative Arts and Artistic Industry and collaborated on the decoration of the Municipal Theater’s auditoriums. During World War I, he served in the Polish Legions. After World War II, he settled in the “Jordanówka” villa in Zakopane.
