Leszek Misiak (born 1943 in Brzeźnica) – Polish painter and printmaker, professor of fine arts, and university professor. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków in the studio of Prof. Wacław Taranczewski from 1962 to 1968, graduating with honors and becoming a lecturer at the same institution the following year. In 1992, he was awarded the title of professor. He is a two-time recipient of the Minister of Culture and Art Award (in 1974 and 1986). Misiak’s works are included in the collections of, among others, the National Museum in Kraków and the National Museum in Szczecin. In 2011, he was awarded the Silver Medal “Gloria Artis” for Distinguished Service to Culture.
