Biography
Painter and illustrator, member of the "Wroclaw Group". From 1949 to 1955 studied at the Faculty of Architecture of the Wroclaw University of Technology, 1955-1958 at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Wroclaw under Eugeniusz Geppert. Since 1967 he has been a lecturer at the PWSSP, rector of this university in 1984 and in 1992-1999. In his painting he is fascinated by light and movement. He uses repetitive rhythmic sequences that meander serpentinously: the "Penetrations and Space" series.
