Tadeusz RYBKOWSKI (1848-1926)
From 1872 to 1875 he studied at the School of Fine Arts in Cracow under W. Łuszczkiewicz, between 1875 and 1878 at the Academy of Vienna under C. Wurzinger and then in the studio of L. Loeffler. From 1878 he worked in Vienna independently making numerous trips to Italy, Munich, Dresden and Berlin. In 1893 he settled in Lviv, where he became a professor of decorative painting at the State Industrial School. He painted genre scenes-hunting, fairs, markets. He illustrated Polish and foreign magazines.
