Artist about the work: the work I was inspired by has a certain rhythm and idea, I wanted to keep it and respect it, at the same time giving it its own character, style and personality, but not forgetting that it is Mr. Gronowski who is the model and someone who bulls "here" first.
BIO ARTISTS:
Kasia Kotnowska was born in Krakow, lives and creates here, studied sociology (with a specialization in social work) at Jagiellonian University. She also graduated from clothing design school with a diploma in technology, and for years had her own brand.
Kasia about herself: when I was a little girl I used to paint and draw a lot, but during adolescence the emphasis was put on other things. After years I returned to what began to give me a lot of satisfaction, at first I did for myself (for the drawer), but I dared to consult the works with my friend Bartek Chwilczynski, a lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, who motivated me to take the matter seriously. I rented studios near him. During the pandemic I also made encouraging inscriptions for Cracovians on the streets of the city, thanks to this I got the Man of the Year award of Gazeta Krakowska. I'm currently painting and working with the city to create an exhibition called COOPERATION, which will be a record of the life of the city, the residents, during the pandemic, lockdown and the activities of artists during this time.
