The content of the letter was written in careful, ornate handwriting, characteristic of private correspondence, full of respect and friendship. The author of the letter, Gabriel Sapieha, addresses the addressee - Tadeusz, whom he calls "a dear friend." He informs him that he is sending enclosed all the materials regarding the posthumous decorations of the sainted Colonel Francis Koss. In doing so, he expresses regret and sadness that he will not be able to personally participate in the ceremonies on this occasion, which are to be held in Warsaw on November 11. The letter ends with a cordial greeting and wishes for good health.
