"Principles of war administration" was prepared by the accounting officer of the Polish Legions Dr. Roman Górecki with the help of the c. k. accounting superintendent, Karol Tićak.

The purpose of this manual is to briefly and clearly present the entirety of military administration and economy. It also contains regulations defining the scope of activity not only of non-commissioned officers, but also of the commanding officers of a battalion, regiment, brigade or division headquarters, as well as everything that unit commanders should know about administrative and victualling services.
