A bilingual German-Polish map of Warsaw, “Plan der Stadt Warschau / Plan miasta Warszawy,” at a scale of 1:40,000, dating from the period of the German occupation, most likely from around 1942. The map shows a detailed street network, districts and suburbs, parks, rail lines, and major city landmarks. The numbered tram and bus lines are marked in red. Of particular documentary significance is the area of the Warsaw Ghetto, marked in yellow and described in the legend as “Jüdisches Wohnviertel – Jewish Quarter.”
