Zygmunt BIENULIS
1895 - 1963
Studied in 1914-17 at the School of Arts and Crafts and Applied Arts in Warsaw, and then in 1917-24 at the Municipal School of Decorative Arts and Painting. He practiced sculpture in wood, plaster and bone, and was involved in painting and printmaking, as well as book illustration. He is the author of such sculptures as the head of "F. Chopin," "The First Year of Science," and "Warsaw Mermaid." He participated in the National Museum's National Art Exhibitions in 1951, 1952, 1953.
