oil on canvas, 70 x 100 cm, signed lower right: 'Kinga Wnuk' and inscribed on the reverse: 'Kinga Wnuk 2025'
A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, where she graduated with honors from two departments: Interior Architecture (degree in 2000) and Painting in the studio of Prof. Stanisław Rodziński (degree in 2002). She began her artistic education at the Józef Kluza State High School of Fine Arts in Kraków. She is a member of the Warsaw District of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers and the creative group Positive Art. Since 2002, she has combined her purely artistic work with design, co-running her own interior design studio. In her oil paintings, she develops her own artistic language through saturated color, dynamic composition, and a thick, impasto texture. These techniques allow her to gradually move away from literalism toward abstract synthesis. In her latest series, she examines the modern architecture of Warsaw, offering her own interpretation of the classical veduta. She captures the space of the metropolis in which she lives and creates, with particular sensitivity, capturing moments where the city’s glass fabric intertwines with nature. The artist’s works are held in private collections both in Poland and abroad (the United States, Spain, France).
The artist has received awards and honors in national competitions—she is the recipient of, among others, the Third Prize at the 5th National Painting Biennial “Königsberg in Kant’s Time” in Olsztyn (2024) and has received honorable mentions in the “Moje Zakopane” and “Ogólnopolskie Konfrontacje” competitions in Leszno.
