Malwina Konopacka (b. 1982, Warsaw), Vase Eye

Biography
Studied Industrial Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and illustration at the Universität der Künste in Berlin. She has drawn for "Przekroj", "Zwykły Życie" and "Machina", among others. She also designs utilitarian objects, mainly vases decorated with indentations that refer to the shape of an eye. Each vase is decorated with a different pattern or color arrangement. Her work has been exhibited at Warsaw's Museum of Modern Art and Zachęta, at the "What Goes Behind... Contemporary Polish Ceramic Design" exhibition at the London Design Festival, at the "Wanted Design" review in New York, at the Polish pavilion at Expo Milano and at the Tokyo Design Festival. In 2016, the designer received the mustHave award given at the Łódź Design Festival. She lives and works in Warsaw.
