The presented set consists of a traditional ceramic sake decanter - tokkuri - and two small choko bowls. The vessels are made in the tradition of Tokoname-yaki pottery, which is still produced today near the city of Tokoname in Aichi Prefecture. The tokkuri are artistically engraved with brown glaze - unfortunately difficult to read - with kanji characters, while the bowls are decorated with floral motifs (probably bamboo). Author: unknown
