oil, canvas, 110.5 × 116 cm
Signed p. d.: "H. Szczyglinski."
"What Szczyglinski has indeed interesting to say about a given motif or phenomenon in nature are color impressions, color sets that other artists' eyes see either differently or do not see at all. They are the canvass of his work, in which, regardless of directions, tastes and fashions, a man who is indeed passionate about his work can give things that are truly engaging and beautiful, that is, fulfill his life's task."
Wilhelm Mitarski, "Catalogue of a group exhibition of works by Henryk Szczyglinski, October 1918", nlb.
