Outstanding stage and costume designer, painter, illustrator, educator. A pupil of Tadeusz Pruszkowski, graduate of the State Institute of Theater Art (1931-1936); 1936-1940 studies in Paris. She realized stage design projects for the most prominent theaters in the country and the world, including 1936-1940 Grand l`Opera Comique, Nijinsky ballets in Paris. In 1941-1960 - the Metropolitan Opera and the Polish Artists Theater in New York. Awarded many times, including in 1936 she received the first prize in the Grand l`Opera competition for her set design for K. Szymanowski's Harnasie, 1937 - Grand Prix for her set design for Nijinsky ballets.
