The illustration was painted at the request of the publishing house Nasza Księgarnia and used by the graphic designer of the publishing house to design the cover of the book by Ferenc Molnár entitled. "Boys from the Square of Arms." The watercolor on display is the original used in the project. The illustration is dedicated to the art lover in the age range of 1 to 14. The illustration will be accompanied by the book in which the exhibited watercolor was used (the upper right corner of the book slightly folded).
Renata Pacyna
Year born 1965 Professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw. She teaches the subject of Editorial Design. She is involved in graphic design and interior design. She is also a designer, creator of art books. She graduated from the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Wroclaw. She earned a diploma in interior design. She pursued her doctorate and habilitation at the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts' Faculty of Graphic and Media Arts in Wroclaw. Her works have been presented at dozens of exhibitions in Poland and abroad. She has won awards for her book cover designs, and is also a two-time winner (in 2006 and 2012) of the First Place - Jury Award of the Main Exhibition of the International Art Book Festival in Poland. Her works in the field of author's unique art book are in the collection of Musashino Art University (Japan), The King St. Stephen Museum (Hungary), Museum of Art Book in Lodz - two works in the collection of Polish Artist's Book of XX & XXI century (Poland).
