Valery Stratovich was born in 1963 in the northern Caucasus region of Russia. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vitebsk, founded by Marc Chagall. Since 1987, he has been living and creating in Grodno. His work is very expressive. The artist likes thickly laid paint, uses strong colors and boldly combines warm and cold colors.
