One of two medals minted on the 100th anniversary of Stanislaw Staszic's death.
The present one is the work of Józef Aumiller, made at the Warsaw Mint (the other was minted at the Knedler factory). The bust from this medal was also used in the production of the Mint's plaques featuring the writer.
