The bow is steel, rope anchorage, hemp bowstring, braided. Coloured tassels. Crossbow sculpture of fruitwood, entirely covered with bone, with figural scenes on the sides, in the front part on the left is the date 1547 and letters. In front on the lower side is the date 1602 (date of repair) and stylized floral decoration. Bone walnut, steel curved trigger lever. Probably Germany, 1547, length 70 cm. The tensioning hever consists of a toothed arm with a forged hook and a mechanism concealed in a case on which a movable hook is attached. The arm is decorated with etched figural decoration, the front of the case is covered with a figural openwork and engraved brass disc, the counter-plate is decorated with four gilt relief mascots. The handle is fitted with a handle composed of wooden and bone targets. Probably Germany, 16th century, length 38 cm. Unless the item reaches 13,500 euros or more, it cannot be released without the owner's consent. Condition 2+

Cranequin consisted of a toothed rack, a drive mechanism, and a crank with a handle made of bone and wood. A fixed hook is forged onto the rack, and a movable hook is attached to the drive mechanism. Richly decorated, openwork, and etched. Gilded mascarons. Probably German, 16th century, length 38 cm. Unless the item is sold at auction for at least 13,500 euros, it may not released without the owner's consent. Condition 2+
