Austrian flintlock hunting rifle made in the second half of the 18th century in the city of Steyr, signed on the upper surface mainly by the manufacturer "F. Tritsch", or "kirsch" or "hirsch". Octagonal barrel made of steel, equipped with a fixed front sight and a simple sight. Lock plate with classic flintlock mechanism. The stock is made of dark stained walnut wood, decorated with a decent carving with plant ornaments. Brass stock shoe and other fittings. Functional, well-crafted trigger mechanism. A typical example of Austrian rifle work from around 1770.
