Hitler Jugend knife late war production marked RZM M7/5 for Carl Julius Krebs, Solingen. Knife shows typical signs of wear. Blade is slightly sharpened but keeps factory shape. Scabbard black painted with fully functional leather strap.
The knife was introduced in 1933. After the outbreak of World War II and as it continued (due to material savings), the motto engraving on the blade was abandoned, and precious metals were replaced with cheaper zinc alloys. Weapons of this type were part of the uniforms of young people and served as a status symbol within the organization.
