Crowned bust facing right on obverse.
On the reverse a crowned shield of the coat of arms. Under the shield the denomination mark 18 and initials E - C (Ernest Dietrich Croll - mincmaster of the Leipzig mint).
Bust narrow with ribbed ribbon of the Order of the Golden Fleece.
Crown fields of the obverse and reverse smooth with suspensions in the central fields.
Brooch of the clasp oval smooth.
Reverse variant with eight leaves.
Punctuation variant with a dot ending the obverse inscription on the obverse and with a dot after the date.
Condition: NGC AU55
Minor scratches on the obverse surface, but a beautifully struck and preserved coin. A rarer variety. High NGC grade. An attractive piece.
