Germany (Belgium), Henry III (1039-1056), mint Visé (Wiset) (?), denarius.
Av. Back NEIR...; bearded bust to left.
Rv. Legend illegible, pearl inner border, figure (?) with pastoral to left.
Silver, 1.00 g, 17.8 mm. Av. Dannenberg 285; Ilisch II.35.13.
Condition III
Reverse probably unknown. The distinctive motif of the inner border and pastoral indicates Visé, but in any case the coin is from the Maritime region in today's eastern Belgium. Probably unique.
