A very rare type of bishop's cross denarii.
A characteristic issue with distinctive iconography, in which, according to Marian Gumowski, the ensign together with the letter T form a straight cross, while the letter E refers to the word "episcopalis" (bishops).
Currently the prettiest piece, among the few pieces of this type we had on offer. Slightly deficient, but with a natural, mint-fresh surface.
Obverse: ETO above the pennant, below it a ring with a ball inside. In the rim the characters.
Reverse: bachelor's cross with balls and crescents in the fields. In the rim characters.
