Obverse: The tsar’s head facing right. In the rim: ALEXANDER I EMPEROR OF RUSSIA KING OF POLAND
Reverse: A crowned double-headed Russian eagle with a shield bearing the Polish eagle against a background of an ermine mantle. In the eagle’s talons: the royal orb, a scepter, and a sword. At the bottom: the initials I-B (Jakub Benicke—manager of the Warsaw Mint). On the rim: 26 Z GRZ CZ KOL 18 – 18 50 ZŁOT POLSK

A beautifully struck and well-preserved piece. Three-dimensional relief. Beautiful detail. Brilliance and plenty of mint luster. In this condition, the coin is rare and quite difficult to find on the collectors’ market. A beautiful piece for discerning collectors.
