Bust of Type VII (Ciura).
The Ślepowron coat of arms (of Jan Kazimierz Krasiński—Grand Treasurer of the Crown), facing right, is divided by a circular inscription on the reverse.
On the reverse, on either side of the shield bearing the Snopek coat of arms (the coat of arms of the Vasa family), the letters A C – P T (the initials of Andrzej Tymf—leaseholder of the Lviv Mint—and Chrystian Pfahler—mint master of the Lviv Mint)
A variant with simple coat-of-arms shields.
An oval-shaped cartouche bearing the Vasa coat of arms. A trefoil above the cartouche.
A variant with an inscription featuring the king’s title IOAN CASIM … POL ET SVE in the rim on the obverse and … ARGEN SEX – REG PO … in the rim on the reverse—rare.
Condition:
Partially under-struck, but fully legible and beautifully preserved. Intense luster and plenty of mint mirror. A rarer year. A rare variant. In this condition, the coin is rare and hard to find on the collectors’ market. A beautiful piece.
