Sigismund I the Old, Half-grosz, 1522, Vilnius – four dots
A variant featuring the Pogoń without a sword sheath (rear legs extended forward) on the obverse and an eagle with its upper feathers pointing toward its head (triangular feathers on the neck) on the reverse.
A variant with a colon after the date and four dots after LITVANIE—more rare.
Condition: 1-
Slightly under-struck edge, but a beautifully preserved piece. Good detail. Intense luster and mint mirror finish. A rarer and highly prized punctuation variant. A beautiful coin.
