Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań, where he received a diploma in graphic design in 1974. He is engaged in creative activity in the fields of printmaking, drawing, painting and illustration. Since 1974, he has worked at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan, where he heads the drawing studio. At the same time, at Szczecin's WSSU, he runs a studio of drawing and printmaking. The professor has held more than 50 solo exhibitions and participated in 150 group exhibitions at home and abroad.
