b. 1930
He studied under Szczepan Skorupka and Waclaw Prusak. By education he is a surveyor, cartographer, doctor of geographic sciences (studied at the University of Poznan, Warsaw University of Technology and the Military University of Technology). He is most fond of painting landscapes, often documenting vanishing objects of folk, sacred and defensive architecture. He has presented his paintings in more than seventy group exhibitions and nearly seventy individual exhibitions at home and abroad. His creative achievements have been honored with prestigious awards: Second Degree Award of the Minister of Culture and Art (1978, 1979) and the Golden Palette at the 14th International Salon of Contemporary Art in Revin, France.
