Małgorzata Izabela Matwin - I was born in 1967 in Włoszczowa.
I currently work in Cracow and live in the close vicinity of the city.
I am passionate about oil painting and, more recently, acrylic painting.
In 1985-1988 I participated in group exhibitions,
after plein-air events with the Creators' Club at the House of Culture in Jedrzejow,
and also in 1988 I graduated from the Art Education Direction at SN.
I have done many realistic oil paintings, landscapes, flowers,
still lifes, and even a few portraits.
My favorite directions in painting, which inspired me,
were surrealism, magic realism, metaphysical realism, cubism, symbolism and abstraction.
I lived in Jelenia Gora for several years, where in October 1994 at the MUFLON Municipal House of Culture
I had an author's exhibition, primarily of these unrealistic oil paintings.
At that time I also ran my own Advertising and Music Agency,
on behalf of clients, we produced advertisements according to our own ideas,
with the participation of actors, musicians, recorded in the studio and broadcast on local RMF Radio.
I returned to my hometown. I graduated from the Management and Marketing Department at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow.
In1996 I started working in the Sales and Marketing Department of a construction corporation.
I moved to the Krakow office six years ago.
In 2020, I was on two plein air painting trips in the Bieszczady Mountains
with the Group We Paint with a Smile, which ended in joint exhibitions
and the donation of works to the EDEN and LESKO SKI Recreation Centers.
