Barbara ZABŁOCKA,
Ostrowian. Graduated with honors from the State High School of Fine Arts in Poznan and the Interior Design Study in Wroclaw. Painter. For many years a "court artist" of the Youth Cultural Center and Ostrów Cultural Center, currently an exhibition specialist at the Gallery of Contemporary Art in Ostrów Wielkopolski. Designer, computer graphic artist and stage designer, whose works are in national private collections. Participant of more than a dozen plein-air and individual and collective exhibitions.
Author of countless posters and materials promoting various artistic, cultural, and business projects, including festivals: "Jimiway", "Everything is poetry", "Chanterelle" or "Chopin in the colors of autumn"; poetry volumes, catalogs for art exhibitions, etc. She has developed a recognizable style and color of her works - paintings, placards, stage designs, illustrations and publications. Her angels, gnomes, birds and abstractions tell stories of emotions, reveries, joys and sorrows. Constantly experimenting with "material," she expands the area of her creative activity to include graphic design, interior and exhibition design, set design, and breaking publications.
