Self-taught painter, counted among the Surrealists. He grew up with his uncle residing in Vienna. In 1942 he made his way to France with his family and settled in Nice, where he made a living by making toys and painting in his spare time. At the end of the war he was enlisted in the French army. After the war, he went to England. In London, he exhibited his works at L'Arcade Gallery. In 1948 he returned to France and exhibited his works for the first time in Paris at an exhibition of young artists, receiving a prize. It was then that he decided to devote himself exclusively to painting. His paintings, held in the convention of Surrealism, were exhibited in many painting salons and were included in the collections of many museums and private collections.
