SYNTHESIS Landscapes isa series of watercolor impressions, a synthesis of impressions from communing with the landscape. Simple in form, unique in color. Abstract, made in a unique technique, the works are ethereal, transcendent and strongly evocative.
The main motif of each work is the horizon. They reflect the changeability of nature, shimmering with light and color. The paintings of this series are full of decisive, intense and juicy colors. The artist plays with their juxtapositions and mixing. He contrasts and weaves them into charming and unpretentiously intense, unique ranges. He does not use color directly. He looks for unique colors, builds juxtapositions that are not obvious, because he wants us to open our imagination, translate abstract works into familiar associations and memories.
Jaroslaw Filipek has presented his works during Luxembourg Art Week in Luxembourg, at the Salon d'art Carrousel du Louvre in Paris and the Salon international d'art contemporain in Antwerp and Toulouse. He has had dozens of solo exhibitions in Poland, Sweden, Spain and France.
