Katarzyna Wilga
Born in 1977 in Warsaw, where she currently lives. By education, she has an M.Sc. in construction. She graduated from the Warsaw University of Technology in 2002. Her world is solid values and internally rich people.
She has been painting for many years. Since 2014 she has been a member of the Warsaw Association of Culture Creators and there she has been perfecting her painting technique. She has participated in many group exhibitions including several of international stature.
She cultivates easel painting. She uses mixed techniques, mainly acrylic
and oil. She is good at rendering the realistic form of the subjects she takes up.
Abstractionism prevails over realism in the author's preferred subject matter. In her work, she explores themes that allude to the mystery of life, with none of the fear characteristic of the unknown. There is mystery broken by the ambivalent emotions conveyed by the intricate play of colors and lights. Mystery acquires a new meaning.
