painter and sculptor. from 1950 to 1955, he studied sculpture at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Poznan. he is the author of many Poznan monuments, including sculptures at the Citadel in Poznan (1963-1967), the monument to Stanislaw Staszic (1967), the monument to the insurgents of Wielkopolska (1968), the monument to Karol świerczewski (1975). In addition to sculpture, he was also involved in applied graphics, posters, etc. since the 1960s, an important field of his work was painting, which he studied at the academy of fine arts in marseille. he made artistic trips to France, Spain, Italy, Greece and Yugoslavia. he exhibited individually and in many group exhibitions at home and abroad. He was associated with a group of realists. in his landscapes he often took up ecological themes and related to the problems of modern civilization.
