"Flags of No Man's Land" by Richard Wasko is a reflection on history and politics expressed in the language of geometry. Flags, as symbolic creations, have their own history. Their forms are connected with the history of nations and states, often referring to the founding myths of the communities concerned. The possession of a flag testifies to the sovereignty of a state. In the case of the presented flag, we are dealing with an object devoid of meaning because it is nobody's, just as the land it represents is nobody's.
