Tadeusz Niemiec does not spend his time searching for still unoccupied, ever finer niches in which a painter could feed. He doesn't frustrate himself with duplicating patterns that already exist, historically. On the contrary - he freely enters these schemes and fearlessly draws from them. What goes onto the canvas glows with carefree energy and vitality. It is interesting to know whether the German drew with chalk first and only later realized that he had entered the worlds of Jackson Pollock, or vice versa - he first saw this style and then began to create in it himself.
