Viola Tycz - a graduate of the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw. Initiator and founder of the REAKTOR Contemporary Art Center. She led the Multimedia Studio and the Video Studio at the AFA College of Photography in Wroclaw. She has received scholarships from the Pilar Juncosa and Joan Miró Foundation, Young Poland, and the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. Her works can be found, among others, in the National Museum in Krakow, Warsaw, the Lower Silesian Zachęta of Fine Arts, the Collection of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Joan Miró Foundation and private collections. The artist's works regularly appear on the Polish and foreign art market, auctioned at Sotheby's and Christie's auction house.
