The only work by the artist for at least 20 years on the auction market. The painter was born in Bochnia and studied in Cracow with W. Weiss and Pronaszko, among others, who considered her his most talented student. She was married to Lech Piwowar a writer who appears on the Katyn list. She also translated works from French mainly by G.Apollinaier. She was active in the Zwornik Artists' Association group
and exhibited in Poznan, Warsaw, Czestochowa. Due to illness she began to paint mainly in tempera and gouache. In 1937 she settled in Katowice. The Museum of Literature in Warsaw and the Literary Association in Katowice have her works. Paintings before the war were described in "Fine Arts" and "Time" magazine.
