Bartłomiej Jurecki is a photographer from Zakopane, a graduate of the Kraków School of Art and the National Film, Television, and Theater School in Łódź, where he earned a master’s degree in photography. He works regularly for “Tygodnik Podhalański,” and his body of work combines photojournalism, portraiture, landscape, and nature photography. He is the author of acclaimed projects documenting the culture of Podhale and the recipient of numerous photography awards in Poland and abroad. His photographs explore humanity, tradition, and our relationship with nature, capturing fleeting moments and disappearing elements of local heritage.
