Oil on Canvas
This detailed 1934 composition captures a vibrant scene of traditional Alpine life, likely depicting a congregation leaving a mountain chapel after a Sunday service. The artist, signing with the initials "SW," employs a narrative folk-style realism to document the local costumes (Tracht), from the embroidered dirndls of the women to the lederhosen and feathered hats of the men. Oil on Canvas 50 x 66 cm . Signed with initials "SW" and dated 1934 lower right
