“For Stanisławski was a poet of the landscape: an inspired bard whose soul, upon beholding the wonders of nature, would laugh in joyful ecstasy, only to melt once more into melancholic reverie and rapture, while, obedient to the mood of his soul, the artist’s hand sang a sublime hymn of radiant colors, tuned into a harmonious scale with an almost musical rhythm. And one cannot help but marvel at how such an abundance of emotion could find expression in such an exquisitely precise execution. Yet this very gift is proof that Stanisławski was a born painter by the grace of God and that he accurately understood his calling.”
