From 1915, he lived in Switzerland, and from 1919, he lived in Poland (including Warsaw, Lidzbark, Poznań, Nekla, and Kazimierz Biskupi near Konin). From 1922, he was a member of the Poznań-based artists’ group “Świt,” and in 1936, 1938, and 1939, he was listed among the members of the Greater Poland Artists’ Group “Plastyka.” He exhibited at the Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts in Warsaw in 1914 and 1920 (a collection of works), at the Society of Friends of Fine Arts in Poznań, in Vilnius (1915), in Bydgoszcz (1936), and also in Prague in 1934. He was primarily a landscape painter; he also painted flowers (“Lion’s Muzzles,” “Delphiniums,” both exhibited in 1927) and portraits.
