Stanislaw Korzeniewski was a painter associated mainly with the Munich community, and spent most of his life on the Isar River, although he came to Poland several times for longer periods. He probably began his artistic studies while still in Poland, while in 1895 he entered the Munich Academy of Fine Arts, where he studied until around 1900 under K. Raupp. In 1903 he joined the Kunstverein; he was also a member of the Münchener Künstler-Genossenschaft. After the outbreak of World War I, he had to leave Munich due to his political activities. He participated in the Greater Poland Uprising. After the end of hostilities, he returned to Munich.
