She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, under the direction of Włodzimierz Tetmajer, Jan Stanisławski and Jacek Malczewski. She continued her studies in 1903 in Milan. From 1906 to 1912 she studied in Munich. In 1912 she moved to Lviv, where she stayed until 1944. During her Lviv period she was most active creatively. She cultivated portrait miniatures, genre painting, landscape and book illustration. Since 1908 she participated in exhibitions in Lviv, Bydgoszcz, Cracow, Lodz, Olsztyn, Poznan and Warsaw.
