Painter, studied at the Cracow SSP under Szynalewski, Loeffler and Matejko, among others. He continued his studies at the Munich academy. He made trips to Italy and Paris. He settled permanently in Cracow. Known mainly as a painter of Krakow's architecture, he readily drew on genre-historical subjects and legion themes.
