Włodzimierz Terlikowski (Vladimir de Terlikowski) – a Polish painter associated with the École de Paris circle. From around 1911, he lived permanently in Paris; he traveled extensively and painted landscapes (including those of Brittany and France), still lifes, and portraits. His signature style was characterized by a dense, “putty-like” paint texture and vivid, contrasting colors. He exhibited his work in Paris, as well as in Venice, Brussels, and Poland.
