Anna Malicka-Zamorska Graduated from the Faculty of Ceramics and Glass at the State Higher School of Fine Arts (now the Academy of Fine Arts) in Wrocław, 1965. One of the world’s best-known and most popular ceramic artists. Recipient of scholarships from the following universities: GIAE, Churchill, Victoria, Australia; Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa, USA; Academy of the Arts, Reykjavik, Iceland. Participated in international creative symposia, competitions, and over 200 exhibitions in Poland and abroad. Her works are in museum collections throughout Europe, the Americas, Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea. Since 1974, she has been a member of the International Academy of Ceramics (IAC), headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. From 1977 to 2008, she organized the International Ceramics Symposium “Porcelain Differently.” She has received numerous awards in Poland and abroad. |
