The main theme here, in my opinion, is the passing of time and the loneliness associated with this passage - an overwhelming loneliness, which I call 'imperial'-. This loneliness the aging man both experiences and becomes more and more aware of.

Adam Nowacki born 1967 in Bydgoszcz. Studied at the Painting and Graphic Arts Department of the State Higher School of Visual Arts in Gdansk in the graphic design studio of Prof. Jerzy Krechowicz and in the painting studio of Prof. Henryk Cześnik. He received his diploma in painting in 1994, with an annex in graphic design led by Prof. Wieslaw Debski. He cultivates painting.
