DIANA AND HER NYMPHS
In the centre of a mountainous landscape with a river, the nude Diana is seated on a blue cloth, which also covers her right arm. Her attributes include a small crescent moon on her head and a quiver with arrows, the most valuable of which lies in front of her, next to two dogs. She is surrounded by several nymphs in various poses who have accompanied her on the hunt and three of whom can be seen in the water. Further quivers hanging in the lower left margin and in the tree on the left edge of the painting. Oil on panel, 65.5 x 98 cm.
