In Nove Paca, Karel Havlata also showed extraordinary artistic talent already in the general and burgher schools. Subsequently, he entered an apprenticeship in the painting workshop of the academic painter Vaclav Kretschmer, where he worked from 1899 until 1911. After becoming independent, he made a living by painting until the end of his life. The main theme of his work was the Krkonose Mountains, which are also depicted in his work "View of the Krkonose Mountains". This painting captures the majesty of the Giant Mountains, where Havlata masterfully works with light and shadow to highlight the beauty of the snow-capped peaks. The use of soft tones and the play of light create a peaceful atmosphere that captures the magical tranquility of this mountain landscape. Havlata became famous for his painting skills and ability to faithfully capture the atmosphere of natural scenery. The painting "View of the Giant Mountains" is a beautiful example of Havlat's masterful art, which celebrates the natural beauty of the Giant Mountains and his native region.
